Peerflix - Trade DVDs, Don’t Rent Them

Slicksta stumbled upon a new website that makes it easy to swap DVDs:
- List DVDs you have / DVDs you want to trade
- Mail DVDs to other members when requested and get credits
- Receive DVDs from your list as you accumulate credits
DVDs you receive are yours to keep (or trade again). Peerflix makes money by charging $0.99 to facilitate the trades. Slicksta likes this idea because it takes advantage of the internet’s ability to connect disparate parties and supply with demand. Ultimately, Peerflix’s success will depend on how many people join the network and the quality of the selection (sorry hombres, no porn).

Nice find Slicksta! They contacted me about advertising about a month ago. I thought it was a very interesting concept as well!
Building on this idea is a site you should also know about called BarterBee.com.
Not only can you trade dvds, but you can also trade cd video games and cds for $1.00.
As you thought, this is significantly cheaper than NetFlix and PeerFlix seeing that BarterBee.com caps your monthly max at $5.00 out of your pocket. Any trades over your 5th are on the house.
And yes hombres, there is the ability to trade your “adult” themed dvds. right now, it looks like only a few softer ones are being listed.
