Slicksta is not in beta

Slicksta recommends thinking twice before jumping on the plasma bandwagon. A few things to consider:

1) Plasma screens burn-out after 4-5 years (depending on use) and are not repairable.
2) Many plasmas do not come with built-in speakers. Like to watch TV without having to turn on the stereo? Slicksta does.
3) Wall-mounting sounds cool but what about cables? Slicksta wouldn’t want them hanging down and drilling holes in the wall to hide them is not always an option.

Enter the DLP televisions. These big-screen TVs offer crystal clear pictures and are thinner and lighter than older rear-projections TVs. They also cost about half the price of a similar-sized plasma TV. Slicksta’s 42″ Samsung DLP is only 13″ deep! He’s had it for six months now and has zero complaints. The picture is gorgeous and many guests think that it’s a plasma anyways.
