Bluetooth-Enabled Cordless Phone
May 27th, 2005

Slicksta is sad to find that another of his brilliant product ideas has already been produced and marketed. The Uniden ELBT595 is a marriage of cordless, cellular and bluetooth technology. Those of us reluctant (or unlucky) to have poor cell phone reception at home can now enjoy crystal clear connections over a land line, via a bluetooth connection. This products makes the land line Slicksta keeps for DSL access more useful, too.
Special features:
- 5.8GHtz digital
- Blue-tooth enabled
- USB Connection
- Speakerphone in handset and base
- Digital answering system with access from handset
- Pair up to 10 phones with one base unit
Thanks for the tip, Hoy.

just picked up one today, it’s really cool, once you pair up your bluetooth phone with it, you can dial from the base or handset, at which time, your cell phone will also display the call info. call quality is great, much much better than my cell phone; and of course, the best part is that you can use your cell phone’s free long distance minutes.
