Citibank – Thank you Rewards

A man sits at his desk, working late, with photos of his family all around him. The photos talk and say that they are tired and want to go home. We come to realize the photos are actually his real family members posing behind picture frames. “Tired of waiting for your reward?” we’re asked [...]

www.SigAlert.com

Many of Slicksta’s co-workers are religious about checking SigAlert.com before heading home each day. Mouse-over the little dots to see average speeds at key locations along your route and be in the know about which areas to avoid.
Currently the site only supports cities in California.

www.BayRaider.com

With categories like “Celeb Stuff”, “Expensive” and “Weird” the folks at BayRaider seek out and blog about unusual items actually on sale at eBay. Slicksta recently found entries for sand that Elvis walked on, a MiG-23 fighter plane, a life-sized Pillsbury Doughboy and someone’s friendship.

The Mother of all Foosball Tables

“Curvaceous, futuristic and elegantly unerstated, the Opus is nothing short of spectacular. Every table is constructed to order, so no two are alike.” Slicksta has to concur.
The Opus by the Eleven Forty Company takes the foosball table, undoubtedly the most recognizable, dot-com fixture, to a whole new level:

Players’ heads are micro-cast based on photographs of [...]

Chia Keyboard

Is this the latest in the line of fine products from the Chia Pet people? No, just a hilarious office prank that Slicksta plans to try on one of his unknowing co-workers (laughs devilishly).

Don’t Click It!

Don’t Click It is an interesting take on user interface with you guessed it, no clicking. Instead, users simply mouse-over links to activate them and learn easy mouse movements to trigger certain actions. Slicksta likes the novel approach but wonders if it will ever have any commerical value.

Get In My Belly!

The premise is simple: take a photo of every meal that you eat and post it online. Slicksta is strangely captivated by the photos of chinese food, sandwiches and drinks.
The blog is hosted on Fotolog.net, a site that makes photo-blogging simple and easy to do.

It really isn’t that hard!

We know that sex sells (Slicksta has eaten way too many $6 burgers since seeing Paris Hilton’s car-wash / burger fantasy) but can sex educate? Oh yes it can!
Rachel Stevens is a hot, British pop-star. She recently taught Slicksta how to examine himself for testicular cancer in a public service message for a male [...]

DLP Televisions

Slicksta recommends thinking twice before jumping on the plasma bandwagon. A few things to consider:
1) Plasma screens burn-out after 4-5 years (depending on use) and are not repairable.
2) Many plasmas do not come with built-in speakers. Like to watch TV without having to turn on the stereo? Slicksta does.
3) Wall-mounting sounds cool but what about [...]
